Chad Potter has 20 years of TV broadcasting experience. During his career that expands over decades his experience and innovative thinking has instilled in him to lead by example with new ideas and solutions. Potter earned his degree in Science for electronic engineering.

He attended ITT Technical Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida graduating in September 2000. Upon graduating he was hired by Lucent Technology were he started his career in telecommunications. During his time at Lucent Potter became the Lead Installer and supervised projects.

Potter moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2002 joining CNN (Turner Broadcasting) as an Associate Broadcasting Engineer, then promoted in 2004 to Broadcasting Transmissions Maintenance/ IT Engineer. He further expanded his knowledge in becoming a Certified Video Engineer by SBE (Society of Broadcasting Engineer). Potter pursued additional education in 2006 as an ETA Certified Fiber Optic Installer (FOI GA350) and Fiber Installer – Outside Plant (FOSPGA119) in 2007.

In 2008, Potter was recognized with the top honor of receiving a BEYA (Black Engineer of the Year award) for innovative modern technology, dedication and consistent leadership. He continues to lead by example by being recognized as a subject matter expert by his peers in the TV broadcasting community. In his personal time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
