Vice President for Information Technology

The Office of the Vice President for Information Technology frames what we do, how we do IT, and why.  Our IT vision is to develop high-performance SMART teams that transform Hampton University’s technology status by building advanced technology platforms, inspiring intellectual curiosity and promoting professional technical aptitude for Hampton University’s student, faculty and administrative family.

Working with our diverse professional staff to achieve this evolving and ever-changing vision, the CIT strives to achieve THE Standard of Excellence. The VP, Dr. Alissa Harrison, reports directly to Hampton’s President and serves as the CIT’s advocate to the University’s senior administrative level.
