In addition to ensuring that our students are attractive to college admissions representatives, we also encourage our students to commit themselves to community service. The Hampton University Upward Bound Program sponsors at least one large community service effort a year in which our participants are involved. To date, our students have completed a total of 863 hours and 40 minutes (863.67 hours) of community service with our program.
