Dr. Amini is a Board Certified, Clinical Assistant Professor at Hampton University School of Pharmacy (HUSOP). She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from Hampton University and a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Georgia State University. She completed her PGY-1 Residency at Riverside Health System and worked as a Clinical Pharmacist before joining the Faculty at Hampton University in 2017. In addition to didactic teaching, Dr. Amini maintained a clinical practice site at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) until March of 2020, where she served as an Internal Medicine Pharmacist in collaboration with the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) Internal Medicine Team.
Dr. Amini serves at the Chair of the Alumni Committee, has previously served as the Chair of the Admissions and Student Affairs Committee and Forum Committee, and is part of several other committees. She is currently the VSHP Region 8 President and has served on the Education Committee at VSHP as well as the advisor to the ASHP and VSHP student chapters.
