Environmental Health Science Minor
Environmental Health Science
The minor in Environmental Health Science is offered by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. It provides students with the knowledge of how environmental factors impact human health, particularly in underserved communities.
Completion of the minor will assist students in preparing for careers in Public Health, Emergency Preparedness, Occupational Health sciences or graduate programs in Public Health, Environmental Law & Justice, Health Policy, and Medicine.
To earn a minor, a student must complete a minimum of 19 credit hours of coursework. There are 17 credit hours of core courses and a minimum of 2 credit hours of electives.
