Keisha Taylor Starr is a marketing enthusiast with 20+ years of media experience across news, sports, and entertainment. She joined Scripps Networks, a subsidiary of The E.W. Scripps Company, in January 2022 as the division’s Chief Marketing Officer where she currently leads brand marketing and creative services for nine television networks.
Prior to joining Scripps Networks, Keisha served as the SVP of Marketing & PR for digital news startup, The Recount. There she led the brand’s expansion into new content verticals and the go-to-market strategy for the company’s various products including the podcast network, app, newsletter and website.
Keisha formerly served as the SVP of Integrated Marketing for Learfield IMG College where she focused on developing revenue-generating collegiate sports marketing sponsorships. Additionally, she spent a decade with WarnerMedia (formerly Turner Broadcasting), leading award-winning teams across CNN and the TNT and TBS networks. Before joining WarnerMedia, Taylor began her career as an Assistant Account Executive for BBDO ad agency in Atlanta.
Keisha’s portfolio of work has garnered numerous industry accolades. She was selected as a “Game Changer: Women in Sports Business” by the Sports Business Journal and her work has also been highlighted in Advertising Age’s list of the “Top 15 Global Marketing Stunts”.
Keisha is a graduate of Hampton University. She has served on several industry diversity councils and committees. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
