Biography
Dr. Haughton is a 17-year elementary school teacher, specializing in literacy, assessment, behavior management, advocacy, and restorative practices. In 2022, Dr. Haughton transitioned from the elementary classroom with collegiate aspirations to “make teachers,” and now serves as Director of the Education Assessment in the Department of Education at Hampton University.
