Mr. Charles S. Tate, Jr.

I am a Retired School Administrator and teacher from the Virginia Beach Public Schools.  I have been working in the Department of Education   for 12 plus years.  I have over 36 years of experience in education content area.  I am a veteran US Army Officer with the rank of Major.  My area of specialty is communication, instruction, leadership and community action.  I am a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.  I have been active for 57 plus years.  I am the current Alpha advisor on this campus. I am also an active member of National Hampton Alumni Association, Incorporated.  I am a Deacon at the Historical First Baptist Church on Bute Street, Norfolk, Virginia.  I am married to my college sweetheart. Emily and I have two children that are Hampton legacy.
