Ms. Taylor Thornton

A Virginia Beach native, Ms. Thornton has built her career in nonprofit education and community service programs, with experience in Philadelphia, the DC metro area, and the Hampton Roads area. She takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment in the Education Department and genuinely enjoys supporting HU scholars as they navigate their academic journeys.
Ms. Thornton hopes to pursue a master’s degree in the future as she continues to grow professionally. Outside of work, she loves winding down on the couch with her fur baby, watching TV, listening to good music, reading, cooking, crocheting, nature walks, and fitting in a workout when she can.
