Mr. John McDonald

John McDonald serves as our Enrollment and Scholarship Officer and is a native of Hampton, VA.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and commissioned from The United States Coast Guard Academy in 2008.  John served on board Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma, out of Portsmouth, NH as a Deck Watch Officer and as the Weapons and Deck Division Officer.  Following that assignment, he served at the U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting Command in Washington, DC as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader.  Upon completing his service commitment, John separated from active duty and served as a Coast Guard Reserve Officer until March, 2017.

Prior to joining the Pirate Battalion, he worked as an account representative with Bradley Morris Inc.  Additionally, he holds a Masters of Arts in Organizational Learning and Human Resource Development from George Washington University.
