Dr. Linda Malone-Colón

Dr. Linda Malone-Colón is Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Education at Hampton University, where she provides visionary leadership across the humanities, social sciences, fine and performing arts, and education. A nationally respected scholar and academic leader, she is committed to advancing student success, academic excellence, and community-engaged learning.

Under her leadership, the School is strengthening interdisciplinary programs, expanding the arts, and integrating emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—in ethical, human-centered ways that enhance creativity, learning, and social impact. Dr. Malone-Colón is especially focused on increasing access and opportunity, cultivating strategic partnerships, and building a lasting legacy that prepares graduates to lead with purpose in a rapidly changing world.

She brings extensive experience in faculty development, curriculum innovation, and institutional leadership, and is deeply committed to Hampton University’s mission of excellence, character, and service.
