McKinley L. Price is a respected dentist and politician who has served as the Mayor of Newport News, Virginia. In 1989, he was elected by his peers as President of the Peninsula Dental Society notably as the first black president of this organization. He was also named “Dentist of the Year” by the Old Dominion Dental Society. He served as the President of the African American Mayors Association (AAMA), an organization representing over 500 African American across the United States.
