MBA Curriculum The HU Online MBA Curriculum offers a flexible learning approach. The program requires 30 credit hours for graduation, distributed across two categories:

MBA Core Curriculum

Your MBA journey will be anchored by six mandatory core courses and four concentration courses, essential for your degree.  The MBA courses include 30 credit hours, distributed over five semesters:

This course thoroughly examines every facet of marketing functions within a firm, encompassing fundamental managerial duties such as analyzing consumer demand, identifying target markets, devising strategies, and integrating diverse marketing tools in the marketing mix – including product offerings, pricing, promotion, and distribution. Through comprehensive analysis, you’ll grasp the significance of marketing in various aspects like identifying consumer demands, selecting target markets, and fostering product development and brand establishment. Gain insight into the core principles of managerial economics and its practical applications in organizational decision-making. Serving as a conduit between theoretical microeconomic concepts and managerial practices, the course integrates diverse quantitative methods with fundamental microeconomic principles pertinent to decision-making in both private and public sectors. Throughout the curriculum, significant emphasis is placed on the significance of marginal analysis. Develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through the examination of managerial economics case studies and real-world scenarios.

Acquire a comprehensive understanding of statistics and associated mathematical tools essential for effective decision-making, encompassing both descriptive and inferential statistics. Analyze and process business data, employing visualization and summary measures for comprehensive data description. Utilize statistical methods to make predictions and informed business decisions. Additionally, conduct basic data analysis using Excel, evaluate the efficacy of statistical analyses, and apply fundamental forecasting and linear programming techniques in business contexts.

In this course, students delve into the development of policies and strategies at the general manager level. They examine the execution and assessment of decisions and initiatives aimed at guiding an organization towards its long-term goals. This holistic approach involves strategic analysis, synthesizing insights from diverse courses, utilizing the case method to explore enterprise management, and addressing strategy formulation, implementation, evaluation, policy, and strategy itself. MBA Concentrations

As a student in HU ONLINE 1-Year MBA program you have the option to choose from three areas of specialization that align with your objectives. Each specialization comprises 10 courses (equivalent to 30 credit hours). Despite the concentration chosen, all students will undertake the same six core courses.
