The Clery Act is a consumer protection law that aims to provide transparency around campus crime policy and statistics.
All the faculty, staff, and students who interact with students are considered as Campus Security Authorities (CSA). The Clery Act mandates all the CSA’s to be trained annually. The training consists of a video, and the trainees are required to watch the video for its entire duration and to certify that they have completed the training.
