Student Freedom Initiative Launches for 2022-2023 Academic Year

Student Freedom Initiative has launched for the coming academic year at nine HBCUs, including Hampton University. This non-profit program has four components: the Student Freedom Agreement, which provides a funding alternative to eligible rising junior and senior students in STEM majors in the form of an income-contingent repayment plan, as well as tutoring and mentoring, paid internship programs open to students of any major before graduation and targeted capacity-building to help schools better support students.
