The following disbursement dates do not denote a refund availability date. All questions regarding refunds should be directed to the Business Office. Students are encouraged to sign up for e-refunds with the Business Office.
Main Campus Undergraduate Students
| June 15, 2024 | Continuing Students anticipated date for 2024 – 2025 aid packages. |
| October 1st each year | This is the earliest possible date that you can submit the FAFSA form to the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) (www.fafsa.ed.gov). However, we recommend that you complete your federal tax return for the prior year (if applicable) before filling out this form. If you have not yet filed your return, you can still submit your FAFSA, but you must provide income and tax information. Once you file your tax return, correct any income or tax information that is different from what you initially submitted on your FAFSA. 2025 – 2026 FAFSA WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL DECEMBER 1, 2024. |
| August 26, 2024 | Fall Classes Begin |
| September 17, 2024 | Anticipated disbursement date for Main Campus undergraduate students, graduate, Professional; as well as 15 week University College Students for the Fall 2024 semester. Please keep in mind that this is an anticipated date which could be altered due to unforeseen occurrences beyond our control. |
| September 17, 2024 | Constitution Day. |
| September 26, 2024 | First Anticipated disbursement date for first time borrowers on student loans (Main Campus). |
| October 28, 2024 | Anticipated disbursement date for University College graduate and undergraduate students for the Fall 2024 semester. Please keep in mind that this is an anticipated date which could be altered due to unforeseen occurrences beyond our control. |
| January 9, 2025 | Spring Classes Begin |
| January 23, 2025 | Anticipated disbursement date for Main Campus undergraduate students, graduate, Professional; as well as 15 week University College Students for the Spring 2025 semester. Please keep in mind that this is an anticipated date which could be altered due to unforeseen occurrences beyond our control. |
| February 11, 2025 | First Anticipated Disbursement Date for first time borrowers on student loans (Main Campus) |
| February 15, 2025 | Financial Aid Priority Consideration Date: This is our anticipated date that we will begin processing the FAFSA information received from the Department of Education (ED). Your information must have a valid expected family contribution (EFC) amount calculated by ED before further processing of the application. In most cases, however, the student or the parent forgot to use their respective FSA ID and password (https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/sign-in/landing) to electronically sign the application. Please read the comments on the Student Aid Report and requirements on the HU Net and take the appropriate action accordingly. |
| March 27, 2025 | Anticipated disbursement date for University College graduate and undergraduate students for the Spring 2025 semester. Please keep in mind that this is an anticipated date which could be altered due to unforeseen occurrences beyond our control. |
| April 15, 2025 | Summer financial aid applications are available. Please review the eligibility guidelines on the summer aid page. |
| April 25, 2025 | Last day for spring aid acceptance and processing. If you have accepted aid, the Office of Financial Aid reserves the right to cancel aid that is not able to be disbursed. |
