September 29, 2026First Anticipated disbursement date for first time borrowers on student loans (Main Campus).
October 1st each yearThis is the earliest possible date that you can submit the FAFSA form to the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) (www.fafsa.ed.gov). However, we recommend that you complete your federal tax return for the prior year (if applicable) before filling out this form. If you have not yet filed your return, you can still submit your FAFSA, but you must provide income and tax information. Once you file your tax return, correct any income or tax information that is different from what you initially submitted on your FAFSA.

February 11, 2027First Anticipated Disbursement Date for first time borrowers on student loans (Main Campus)
February 15, 2027Financial Aid Priority Consideration Date: This is our anticipated date that we will begin processing the FAFSA information received from the Department of Education (ED). Your information must have a valid expected family contribution (EFC) amount calculated by ED before further processing of the application. In most cases, however, the student or the parent forgot to use their respective FSA ID and password (https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/sign-in/landing) to electronically sign the application. Please read the comments on the Student Aid Report and requirements on the HU Net and take the appropriate action accordingly.
March 18, 2027Anticipated disbursement date for University College graduate and undergraduate students for the Spring 2027 semester. Please keep in mind that this is an anticipated date which could be altered due to unforeseen occurrences beyond our control.
April 15, 2027Summer financial aid applications are available. Please review the eligibility guidelines on the summer aid page.
April 25, 2027Last day for spring aid acceptance and processing. If you have accepted aid, the Office of Financial Aid reserves the right to cancel aid that is not able to be disbursed.
