Virginia Cleveland Suites (VC Suites)

Completed and opened in the Fall of 2015, the VC Suites renovation project has provided Hampton University students with a state-of-the-art residential facility with cutting edge technology and large, comfortable furnishings. The suites have private bathrooms and showers in each room, to be shared by the roommates. Study desks, wardrobes, dressers, night stands and other amenities make the living in VC Suites an incomparable experience. As a part of Hampton University’s oldest women’s residence hall and site of the former “big” and “small” cafeterias, Cleveland Hall is a historical and beautiful building built on the bank of the Hampton River. Virginia Cleveland Hall is one of two buildings on campus designed by Richard Morris Hunt, a distinguished 19th century architect. The renovation project in VC compliments the architect’s original concepts by adding modern amenities to enhance the living and learning environment for residents and their guests.
