Hampton University’s Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counselor Education and Supervision and Specialist in Education (EdS) in Counseling and Human Services programs are fully approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Both programs are housed within the Department of Counseling in the School of Liberal Arts and Education.
