Student Internship Opportunities
Students participate in internships for academic credit by enrolling in HIS 399 or POL 400. Students may participate in summer internships without academic credit by competing for various local, regional, and national programs advertised in the department. Faculty members support, assist, and even assign student internships according to student availability and their unique talents. Past and current internship opportunities include NASA Langley, U.S. Department of State, the National Park Service, the Hampton History Museum, the Casemate Museum, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and leaders in state and local government.
