Students are encouraged to perform research and present at professional conferences with faculty advisors. Students and faculty collaborate on exploring numerous health issues including health disparities and drowning rates. Findings have been presented at the Hampton University Research Symposium and the Virginia Association for Health, Recreation and Dance Conference.
