Religious Studies Center

The Religious Studies Center The RSC Residence Hall is situated on eleven (11) acres of prime waterfront property and is a 28,609 square foot multi-purpose residential facility. Less than three (3) miles from the campus and within a few blocks of the Hampton University Horse Stables, RSC is convenient to I-64, with a view that overlooks Mill Creek and the Fort Monroe National Monument. Formerly known as the Holy Family Retreat House, from 1958 until the center closed in 2010, the Center hosted weekend spiritual retreats and other functions and was formerly owned by the Redemptorists Fathers of Virginia. The main building is surrounded by lush green grasses, trees and flowering plants that will provide a peaceful setting for relaxing, reflection, quiet study and casual conversations.
