HU has entered a new chapter under the leadership of its 13th President, Darrell K. Williams, who took office in July 2022, in an historic transition. Ret. U.S. Army Gen. Williams was the first Black director of the Department of Defense’s Defense Logistics Agency, and brings a wealth of experience and innovation to the university. His record, replete with awards such as the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit, speaks volumes of his leadership capabilities.
