Welcome to your
'home by the sea'

Hampton University’s Family Weekend is a vibrant, annual event designed to welcome families into campus life and foster deeper connections between students, their loved ones, and the university community

Our Family Weekend serves multiple purposes:

  • Building Community: It’s an opportunity for families to experience the student’s university environment firsthand—spending time together, exploring resources, and getting a feel for campus life.

  • Support & Insight: Parents and guardians gain access to valuable information—from navigating student success services to understanding the academic and social environment.

  • Celebration & Connection: A blend of formal convocation ceremonies, fun, and engagement creating meaningful moments between students, families, and faculty.
