Our department is small but mighty; we have around 150 students, and each one of them are driven by passion, even from their very first day. Around 70% of our students rely on some form of financial aid, and they will accumulate $200,000 in debt due to flight training expenses. This device is FAA certified as an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), priced at $37,900, featuring wrap-around 200° visuals, realistic flight controls, and interchangeable cockpits. Students can practice maneuvers and procedures without paying for an expensive flight!
UFA ATC Tower Simulator
Hampton University's Aviation Department is the first HBCU to have a collegiate ATC program, and pursues becoming the first HBCU in the nation to receive a FAA Enhanced ATC-CTI designation, allowing students to go directly to an air traffic control facility upon graduation. The ATC program is seeking a UFA ATC Tower Simulator, priced at $215,000. Your donation will help fast-track our Enhanced ATC-CTI certification by Spring 2025.
