Academics - Curriculum

The program in architecture is structured in a five year curriculum leading to the Master of Architecture first professional degree.

The first year in the program provides pre-professional foundation for the professional component, as well as the beginning of the University’s General Education core courses.

The curriculum requirements escalate in complexity, through to five years, culminating with the design research thesis in the fifth year.

The coursework balances professional core offerings with courses in general education, math and sciences, fine arts and humanities, social sciences, professional, and free electives.

With the 168 credit hour program in hand, students will graduate with both Master of Architecture degrees and also a solid basis for achievement in their careers.
