    • Conference Name: International Conference on Engineering, Mathematics and Industrial Applications (ICEMIA)

    • Dates: 23 March – 3 April 2026

    • Format: Online (pilot virtual conference)

Conference Purpose

    • The key objectives of the ICEMIA are as follows: (i) Provide a forum for exchange of ideas and novel research between applied and computational mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science with industrial applications. (ii) Identify emerging areas for new interdisciplinary collaborations by bringing together scientists from academia and industry. (iii) Expose undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early career researchers to cutting-edge research with leading experts at the interface of academia and industry.

The conference’s key focus is to unite specialists from various fields through a common scientific language that all participants can understand. Often, experts in mathematics, engineering, and computer science face challenges in communicating effectively with one another, even when discussing the same topic.

The conference will actively promote participation by women, underrepresented groups. Hosted at Hampton University, a leading HBCU, the meeting is expected to attract a particularly high number of African American student participants.

For Outreach

    • Public Lecture tentative Speaker: Taviare Hawkins (Dean, School of Science, Hampton University).

    • The proceedings of ISEMIA will be published as an edited volume by De Gruyter Brill, a recognized leader in academic publishing (https://www.degruyterbrill.com). This publication will enhance visibility, credibility, and impact by offering a formal, curated, and lasting resource that undergoes thorough peer review and indexing.
