The Department welcomes two faculty members.

Dr. Young-Gqamana received the Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (with a concentration in Bioanalytical) from Purdue University in 2007. Subsequent to her graduate training at Purdue, she has held a research investigator position in the Bioanalytical Laboratory at Amicus Therapeutics, Inc., Cranbury, New Jersey; a postdoctoral appointment at Prosolia, Inc., Lafayette, Indiana; and a research associate appointment at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Dr. Young-Gqamana received the baccalaureate degree in Chemistry from Hampton University, class of 2001.

Dr. Njoki received the Ph.D. in Chemistry (with a concentration in Nanoscience) from State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton in 2007.
