Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality physics education and research experiences through our Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree programs. We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and academic integrity in accordance with university policies and procedures.
The quality of our physics education and research program is defined by Hampton University’s Eight Core Competencies: Critical Thinking, Ethics, International Diversity, Information and Technology Literacy, Oral Communication, Quantitative Reasoning, Scientific Reasoning, and Written Communication.
