main purpose

ICEMIA conference focuses on frontier mathematical methods and their applications to industry. It brings together researchers from mathematics, engineering, physics, and computer science to discuss advanced modeling, analysis, and optimization problems motivated by real-world industrial challenges. A key goal of the conference is to identify open problems where mathematical innovation can have a direct and measurable impact on industry.

Objectives

The key objectives of the ICEMIA are as follows:

  • Provide a forum for exchange of ideas and novel research between applied and computational mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science with industrial applications.
  • Identify emerging areas for new interdisciplinary collaborations by bringing together scientists from academia and industry.
  • Expose undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early career researchers to cutting-edge research with leading experts at the interface of academia and industry.

Topics of interest are included but not limited to:

  • Pattern recognition and optimization of angular parameters for laser rotation in 3D printing;
  • Analytical and numerical multiscale modeling in molecular biology;
  • Mathematical modeling of three-dimensional vibrations;
  • Optimization of foam formation for the ground secondary oil recovery;
  • Modeling of rotating detonation turbines;
  • Optimization of triangulation of signal processing for an unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • Modeling of self-healing materials in aerospace engineering

Key focus

The conference’s key focus is to unite specialists from various fields through a common scientific language that all participants can understand. Often, experts in mathematics, engineering, and computer science face challenges in communicating effectively with one another, even when discussing the same topic.

The proceedings of ICEMIA will be published as an edited volume by De Gruyter Brill, a recognized leader in academic publishing (https://www.degruyterbrill.com). This publication will enhance visibility, credibility, and impact by offering a formal, curated, and lasting resource that undergoes thorough peer review and indexing
