Call for Abstracts: 2025 School of Science Research Symposium

The School of Science at Hampton University invites abstract submissions for the 29th Annual School of Science Research Symposium, themed “Quantitative Skills for Our Changing Planet.” The symposium will take place on April 17-18, 2025, at Hampton University. This event will bring together students, faculty, and researchers to explore the critical role of quantitative and analytical skills in addressing environmental and societal challenges. Submissions should present original research, innovative methodologies, or interdisciplinary approaches that highlight the application of quantitative techniques to real-world problems. Both oral and poster presentations will be considered.

Accepted presenters will be notified by Tuesday, April 01, 2025, 11:59 pm, with further details on presentation formats and schedules.

The symposium will feature a keynote address on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 9:30 AM, delivered by Dr. Brandon Jones, President of AGU, whose leadership in climate science, STEM education, and policy will set the stage for insightful discussions.
